This is what happened to my hair a day after the perming fiasco.
I washed them (as instructed) and.....................
THE CURLS WERE GONE! (See, that's where the role of heat comes in) BUT MY HAIR BECAME EXTREMELY FRIZZY. *Please ignore my bare and pale and sick-looking face and yes, I am very much aware of the extra fats on my cheeks*
This is by far the worst thing that has happened to me in 2011. FML.
